Manga review: Love Control 1&2

The perverted bear Kumakun is back and ready to review all the BL manga he can get a hold of for your guys. First out is Love Control.

Story resolves around the interior decorator  Yamashiro and the bar and restaurant owner Okumura’s love affair.
Both characters are quite stubborn and in the beginning I was worried that this would stop the story from moving forward or make it a bit boring. Thankfully this is not the case and the uke is only stubborn to a point and then slides over to being cute and embarrassed, so the same can figure out what is going on.

The art is consistent and not overly detailed but not lacking detail either. There is one or two places in the books where the flow and panel design leaves you wondering where to go, but other then that I didn’t spot anything obviously irritating.

There is a bit of a plot in the books, but it’s mostly there to keep the story going. So don’t think you’re getting a descendants of darkness type of plot line. :P

The second volume introduces 2 new characters, a bartender, Sasatani who is also interested in the interior designer and later a food sales salary man, Ichinose, that desperately wants the bartender, but just doesn’t know what to do with him once he has him. ^_^’

All in all, it’s a pretty good read and if your into salary man yaoi with a bit of plot, this might be your cup of tea.

I give this manga 3 on the Bishometer as the guys and art are pretty good. ^_^

Over all rating for the book I’ll give it 3 Decadence of 5.
