Holding a panel at Nom-Con!

For anyone going to Nom-Con in Dublin next weekend, feel free to come and listen to my panel on Sunday, 13:30 -14:30!

I’ve made a completely new talk called “Exposed! Japanese Mangaka’s – truth and fiction” where I’ll take a look at some of the common misconceptions about Japanese comic artists and manga. The panel is made so that it should work well for both comic artists and manga fans that would like to know more about the drawing side or manga.

I decided to update the CR with the stuff from BroCon and also added some links to interviews and what not. ^_^ look I can be efficient! ^_~

Sorry for the few updates this week. I’ve been working on the priest comic and also a slide show for a new talk I’m working on.

Pictures from the BroCon Workshop!

As I said in an earlier post, 16 people came to the workshop and later to the panel about manga in Sweden there came another happy crowd of about 16. I got a massive room to be in, so the 16 people looked very lonely. -_-’ We had a great time though and I got to meet some lovely people, so that was great.

I hope everyone thought it was fun and I have a feeling one or who people will be applying to Swedish comic schools next year. ^_~

Are you ready for BroCon 2010?

I hope everyone who it going to BroCon, (Limerick, Ireland) is as excited as I am!

I’ve already announced that I’m doing a workshop there for anyone wanting to learn how to make cool high detailed backgrounds in no time and I’m also doing a talk about manga in Sweden. This will be the first time I do a talk like that and especially about manga in Sweden. I’m use to living it, not talking about it. ^_^’

It’s funny, the more I look, the more there is that I’d like to talk about, but I only have an hour! -_-’

I hope some of you will find the talk interesting!

ReYa is going to BroCon in Limerick! ^_^

Yes, it’s true! After hiding in the shadows for a couple of years now, ReYa (ok, only Strawberry, but who cares?) will be showing up at a con again! It’s BroCon in Limerick 16-18 July. I’ll only be there 17-18 July, so keep an eye out for me.

I’ll be holding a workshop on how to draw cool high detailed backgrounds and this will be the first time I’m holding this workshop in english, so lets hope for the best. ^^

I’ll also hold a talk about Manga in Sweden and the slides from that talk will be available for download of the homepage (this one).
